A Day at Newbury Racecourse

We were thrilled to attend a day at Newbury Racecourse in January with our Year 5 and 6 pupils. Thanks to the charity Racing to Schools, we were able to have a behind the scenes tour and investigated what careers are in racing and how mathematics is applied in real life contexts in these careers. It was such a valuable day learning about an industry that many of our families are part of.
